Triamcinolone acetonide is a synthetic corticosteroid used to treat various skin conditions, relieve the discomfort of mouth soresand in nasal spray form as an over-the-counter relief for allergic and perennial allergic rhinitis.It is a more potent derivative of triamcinolone, being about 8 times as potent as prednisone.
