Lixisenatid (trade name Lyxumia in the European Union and Adlyxin in the U.S. and manufactured by Sanofi) is a once-daily injectable GLP-1 receptor agonist for the treatment of type 2 cukrovka.
Lixisenatid (Lyxumia, Adlyxin, ZP10A peptid, AVE0010) is a once-daily short-acting glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonista receptora (GLP-1RA) with an IC50 of 1.4 nM for the human GLP-1 receptor in receptor binding studies.

It is provided in an autoinjector containing fourteen doses and is injected subcutaneously.
