Levamisole hydrochloride has good curative effect on roundworm, hookworm, pinworm and strongyloidiasis. It is more active than diethylcarbamazine against filarial worms, Malayan filarial worms, and onchocerciasis adults and microfilariae, but the long-term efficacy is poor.
